What Customers Say About FIFA Soccer 09:

I used to be Winning eleven/PES fan.But EA sports have risen up to the challenge of dethroning PES from its no 1 position of being the ultimate experience in football. The gameplay and graphics is very good.I only play for the online. And it is very easy to connect to other gamers and absolutely no lag ,even if you have 512 DSL connection. The only bad thing as expected about EA,is the payment of downloaded content. Why couldn't they release it in the game,Fifa 09 is a good game and a must buy for football fans.

Unintelligent AI.Not to forget the longevity. With Fifa Soccer 09 EA has created a soccer game that will be the best game out there at least for another couple of years.Reasons:Flawless graphics. You can create your own too. One constant complaint after the initial difficulty is the ease with which games can be won (Score lines reading 10+ goals in very little time).

It will keep you engaged day in day out. Plus the Adidas live season updates keeps track of player form etc.You can play as a pro.Manage a team.on and on an on.If you are still reading the review. There are 100s of tournaments to be played in all skill levels.

If you have ever played soccer on any console. In the world class / legendary modes it can get tough to keep possession when playing against top teams.Longevity - This game has so many playing options. Stop reading and head to the nearest store to buy this game.Enjoy.

Patchy graphics. Game play is smooth.AI is good.

It has good replay value and can be played with friends. I have to agree with an earlier review that stated that there are some major glitches in this game. If you buy this game you will enjoy it, just be prepared for the defects that come along with it. I am a long tome FIFA fan and I like how they continually update the game yet keep it essentially the same. Here are a few of my gripes:-Ariel balls will often not be completed because the receiving player will run sidewards and let the defender take control of the ball-Advantages on penalties often seem to take place when you dont need them anymore and are headed to score-Crossing is almost worthless in this game and I rarely, if ever, score a goal off of a cross-Heading in goals is also a rarity, as it seems the player always puts a little too much "umph" on the shot-As in other versions of FIFA, the goalkeeper sometimes stands around while the ball rolls past him into the goal. This happens even when you are controlling the goalie to charge the ballDespite these glitches I still rate this game a 4 overall.

Online this game is surprisingly stable even when 20 players are in at once. It has its ups and downs, goalkeepers at times can be like walls, impossible to fool no matter the striker, yet sometimes are very dull but I guess that adds to realism. If you are looking for a game to keep you busy for months to come, you can't go wrong with FIFA 09. This is a solid game, very addictive just like PES so all those who want to argue about which is best are idiots. Both games are rock solid and any can be enjoyed for months.

If you win a season it doesn't matter, only thing you get is a "congratulation" pop up and there you go, continue doing the same thing season after season after season. Playing same teams over and over again. However this impression will only last for 2 weeks or so. I finished 2 years in a Mananger mode and became bored out of my mind. The gameplay, like all the other soccer games, is something you need to get used to.

Why couldn't they make it more fun. The biggest issue I have is with a difficulty level, which like all the older FIFA titles is either too hard or too easy, nothing in between. Without it I would only recommend this game for a weekly rent. The only positive thing I can say about online is that a lag issue is minimal. Additional Trophy patch released this Spring brought up the replay value.

Nobody cares. Instead most of the time you will be frustrated with terrible passes and poor defending. It is the SAME things each season. I liked how lobbys were organized back in FIFA06. But for the first few days you will be impressed by how good looking this game is. Fifa 09 has a very good visuals.

Why couldn't we get unique victory animations for each season, to make us want to continue playing. So what. This is a one of the reasons why this game wasn't so special to me, too much annoying moments and frustration. Multiplayer is also dissapointing. We welcome you with an open arms. I don't know why can't developers make it more user-friendly and simple.

Forming a team is very hard and finding the right players to be teammates with is even harder. But no. And just like the Single Player, there is barely any reason to continue playing. Now it's a mess. The online community value is missing. Now atleast I have a reason to play more than 1 season to earn a Gold trophy, or try harder online.

So many good bands and singers are discovered by an audience thanks to Fifa series. Sport games that are being updated each year should be sold for no more than $40 and get a price cut right before the New Year starts. On a positive note, just like the visuals, FIFA09's soundtrack is shining. In addition you are required to learn some moves and strategies in order to succeed in attack or in any basic part of the team play. You get a win. I mean seriously make the players advance their coaching career starting with an underdog team on a high difficulty level, making you want to progress to more advanced leagues.

Commentary is improved and the atmosphere in the stadiums is very nice. You want to coach Real Madrid.
